A Picture Says a 1,000 Words

You know you are in SE Asia when......
Food to go....

Don't let their looks deceive you, kind-hearted people!
Paparazzi

Dedication.  Doing homework on the side of the road.

At school on a Sunday night

Playing in my front yard.

with school bags and all....

Grateful to have my own two wheels.....
Sharing the road, a toll road no less

I hadn't noticed.....

A two way road

A common occurrence

As well.....

Maximizing every space possible in a car.....

Añadir leyenda

Myanmar's Starbucks, tea to go

Bike mechanics do exist, but a hammer replaces an allen wrench, scary!

I thought it was 21.45 kilometers away.....
Eeny meeny miny moe.....which way do I go?
Exactly, that is what my odometers says as well.....

And I thought the hike was hard enough carrying a 1,5 L water bottle for 4 hours.  It's all relative!

This is how they widen their roads, no heavy machinery in sight

A gas station in construction, all by hand
Bamboo scaffolding restoring a pagoda

And people think it is hard work pedaling a bicycle, try working at a rock quarry without a bulldozer

The early bird catches the......

Rice!

Decisions, decisions.......

One of my nicer hotels

Anything goes.....

Not as serene as it seems....

The reality

Needless to say, I went the vegetarian route here.....

Sure.....
Taking care of tourists......

Little did they know....

.......40,000 kilometers later
